What does the platform fee cover?
The platform fee (2% on Starter, 1% on Pro/Business) covers payment processing, infrastructure, and support. It is deducted automatically from each sale.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan anytime?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period. No penalty for changing plans.
Are certificate templates a one-time purchase?
Free templates are always free. Paid templates are unlocked per certificate with a one-time fee. Your subscription plan determines which templates your students can unlock.
What is the Certificate API?
Business plan holders can generate and issue certificates programmatically via REST API — useful for schools, companies, or other platforms that want to issue Vendo-verified certificates.
Do my students keep their certificates if I downgrade?
Yes. All issued certificates remain valid and downloadable forever, regardless of plan changes.
How do paid certificates work for my students?
You set a price per course. Students complete the course and see a "Unlock Certificate" button. They pay once and get lifetime PDF + QR verification access.
